Expanded graphite packing, also known as flexible graphite packing, is woven by a flexible graphite wire. Expanded graphite packing has good self-lubricating and thermal conductivity, small friction coefficient, strong versatility, good flexibility, high strength and protection for the shaft. According to different requirements, it can be reinforced with carbon fiber, copper wire, 304, 316L, Yinzhi nickel alloy wire.

Basic description of expanded graphite packing :

1. Pure graphite packing is commonly known as "expanded graphite packing" or "flexible graphite packing";

2. The flexible graphite packing is woven from a low sulfur expanded graphite wire;

3. Cotton yarn is usually used as a reinforcing material;

4. The friction coefficient is low and will not wear the pump shaft and valve stem.

Special Note: Flexible graphite packing cannot be used for strong oxidizing media.
